Helsinki IFK wins away game while Jokerit loses at Hartwall Arena

Kalpa won 2-1 against Jokerit earlier tonight at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki. All of the goals came in the 3 rd period and Kalle Sahlstedt was the one to lead the home team to a victory.

Helsinki IFK won against Oulun Kärpät in a tight game. They won 3-2 on regular time and keep on winning their away games.

Tomorrow, Friday the 20th of February Jyp will meet Lukko in Rauma.

Toivonen and Nickersson have caught the flu!

Ilves goalkeeper, Hannu Toivonen is sick and it is not clear wether he will play on Thursday or not. He was allready sick in yesterdays game against Saipa. Matt Nickerson is also sick and it is not clear wether he will play tomorrow either.

They both have caught the flu so they are not in a critical condition and they should feel better within a couple of days.

Follow JYP-Kärpät on Canal + tonight in Jyväskylä

Tonight, two of the best teams in the finnish icehockey league are playing against each other.
JYP is currently the leading team in the SM-liiga with 91 points against Kärpät who are on a 5 th place but only 8 points behind.

Both JYP and Kärpät have one of the league´s point leaders witch should make the game interresting. Jarkko Immonen from JYP is on 5th place on the leading board with 49 points and Toni Koivisto is currently the point leader in the league with 56 points.

The game will be showed on Canal + Sport 1 tonight at 6:30 pm finnish time.
