If Ässät should lose, They will no longer be a part o the SM-Liiga and Vasa Sport will take their place, becomming an SM-Liiga team for the first time. If Ässät wins, nothing will change, Ässät will stay in the SM-Liiga and Vas sport will stay in the Mestis liiga.
